Guide

How the game works, and what to do first.

Every character lives in a slot, and you get three. Each slot is independently either a Player or a General Manager — you choose on the first step of the creator, and you can hold both kinds at once. Switch between them from the athlete picker at the top of the sidebar.

Creating an athlete walks through name and college, position and archetype, height and weight, then point allocation. Every attribute starts at 20 and you have 150 points to spend.

  • Points cost more the higher you push a rating: 1 point below 50, then 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 per point once you pass 90.
  • Every rating caps at 100.
  • Your archetype's key attributes aren't higher at the start — they train 30% faster for the life of the character. That's the real decision here.
Spread thin and you'll be mediocre everywhere. The point curve rewards committing: getting one key attribute to 70 costs far less than getting three to 55.
